Now, and well into the future.The output: Improved client performance by engaging consumers with brand ideas better, faster and more cost-effectively, across every step of a brand's journey to market.Purpose of the roleHR has significantly evolved at Indicia Worldwide from being purely transactional to a true value-added function, acting as internal advisors and partnering with the business to think strategically in everything relating to our people, becoming the "People & Capability" team.Currently, the team is led by a Global Head of People and Capability who manages a team of 5 senior leaders: a Global Talent Acquisition Manager, Global People Operations and Payroll Manager, a Head of People & Capability (APAC) and a Senior People Partner (EMEA). And sense of humor is in our DNA – so we try to have fun when working together or with the business.Above everything else, it is critical for us that you feel aligned with our values (Collaborative, Entrepreneurial, Pioneering and Accountable) as they are the DNA of how we want to behave and relate as a team.As part of the People & Capability team, you will contribute to the company performance by providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of the business objectives.You will work with the Senior People Partner to perform HR-related duties at the professional level supporting all areas of the business area and EMEA markets.Key responsibilities will include:Partnering with key stakeholders to align HR strategy to business strategy.Acting as a change agent to business through process design and improvement.Analyzing trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions, programs and policies.Providing day-to-day advice, guidance and coaching to managers on a variety of actions, including employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application, talent management and development.Remaining current on employment legislation in relevant markets to advise and guide management during key decision-making processes.Providing clear, consistent advice on all casework processes, including disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, and capability.Leading and/or supporting annual HR cycle deliverables, including performance management, merit and bonus awards, benefits enrolment, etc.Partnering with Payroll, Talent Acquisition and HR Operations as needed to provide solutions for clients.Identifying critical roles and skills gaps and ensuring robust succession planning is developed and implemented to meet organisational talent strategies.All other duties assigned as appropriate by the Senior People Partner, EMEA.Skills, knowledge, experience and exposureEssentialEducated to degree level or equivalent.A minimum of 4 years of experience in an HRBP or Senior Advisory position at the regional level.Fluent in Spanish and English, verbal and written.Exposure to employment law and ways of working in Spain and at least one additional country in Europe.Demonstrable experience in providing strategic HR advice to various management levels.Knowledge and experience of ensuring compliance with legislation or organisational policy.Demonstrable ability to deal with a wide variety of employee relations issues, advise and support managers to a successful outcome.Experience at leading projects and implementing strategic initiatives.Demonstrable experience in decision making and influencing the direction of a department or HR function in an organisation.Experience in managing high-volume workloads in a changing environment.DesirableExposure to employment law and ways of working in multiple European countries.Member of an HR professional institution.One additional European language at a basic level, e.g. French, German.Knowledge of our industry and professional best practices and application.Excellent knowledge of recruitment.The mindset to navigate the roleYou will establish proactive, effective, and transparent communication with different stakeholders to ensure the success of individuals and the organization as a whole.You will demonstrate an ability to juggle multiple priorities ensuring that stakeholder expectations are met and be able to identify challenges with ease and take a proactive approach to problem solving.You need the mindset to resolve problems or queries and have the drive to provide a solution rather than a question.The softer skills that we believe will help you thrive in this roleAbility to quickly understand the business issues, data challenges, and reporting/workforce analytical needs.Ability to develop excellent working relationships quickly with a variety of stakeholders.Excellent attention to detail.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Determination, resilience and enthusiasm.Display a willingness to learn and improve the breadth of knowledge across the organisation.Able to think critically as well as creatively when addressing problems and solutions.Strong ability to forward plan with a commercial mindset.Role RequirementsWhilst the contracted hours for the role are 9am to 5:30pm, Mon – Fri, the global nature of the business requires that some meetings and engagements will happen outside of these hours.There will be occasional travel abroad to another country as and when needed.We are an equal opportunities employer and as such, will make any reasonable adjustments to accommodate the needs of all candidates.
