What you will doWe currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to be responsible for delivering day-to-day services in Spain, according to in-house requirements and outsourced services provided, ensuring timeliness, quality and in keeping with the agreed service levels (SLAs).
You will deal directly with the payroll provider and advise the Payroll leadership team concerning potential risks.
The role is also responsible for ensuring fluid end-to-end processes between on site, in country, cross business, vendor and Johnson Controls leadership representatives and responsibilities.How you will do itTake ownership of the day-to-day processing operation to ensure we meet local service delivery agreements.Handle the relationship between the department, the business and the outsourcing partner.Set work priorities in accordance with the workload, timeframes and change requests.Supervise outsourced partner performance and delivery ensuring SLAs are met.Utilise the HRIS Workday.Prepare input & output for payroll sign off by Payroll manager.Provide payroll and reporting support.Liaise with all collaborators and business partners internally and externally.Assist the Payroll Manager with project work as and when it arises.What we look forRequiredExperience in Spanish payroll and payroll tax processes.Excellent research and problem-solving skills.Intermediate knowledge of Excel (V Lookups and Pivot tables).Ability to calculate changes to pay rates based on time off, overtime, etc.Ability to gather data from multiple sources.Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in English and Spanish is essential; knowledge of another European language will be beneficial.PreferredIdeally, we'd love you to have experience in Italian payroll and experience working with ADP Streamline.
