The Payroll Analyst is an important member of the EMEA Payroll team and will be responsible for processing payroll transactions, time and attendance transactions and/or employee data records directly into payroll systems. The ideal candidate is a proven payroll or time expert who has a proven track record of identifying and driving process standardization, automation, and process improvements. This role will partner with key stakeholders to support their business needs while ensuring that payroll is executed on time, accurately, and compliantly. The Time and Attendance resource will be the first point of contact for supporting change requests and supporting Managers and Time Administrators with time inquiries.RESPONSIBILITIES:Review, enter, and validate payroll transactions and related data directly into payroll systems.Partner with the Payroll vendor to execute payroll processing through each step of the payroll end-to-end process including the variance analysis and payroll funding coordination.Investigate, validate, correct, and provide employee support with overpayments/underpayments when identified/required.Manage all Bank rejects and coordinate with employees to rectify missing data.Process daily equity transactions and off-cycle and immediate pay requests.Process cases via the case management system and respond to employees/managers/time partners directly regarding inquiries in accordance with all internal SLAs.Identify and/or participate in the identification and development of new procedures and policies striving to drive operational efficiency and recommend changes to optimize operations and improve efficiencies.Support stakeholders by collaborating on Payroll programs/deductions like leave processing, fleet management, severance processing, etc.Compile simple to moderate payroll or time reports for internal payroll validation.Execute the time and attendance data extract for loading into the payroll.Assist with troubleshooting pay or time issues and driving resolution both internally and with customers.Support the payroll operations by adhering to both internal and vendor SLAs.Lead the Time and Attendance change requests from requirements to production.Participate in projects/enhancements from development to production including system upgrades or new configuration requirements, as needed.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience in managing payroll for South European countries such as Turkey, Greece, and Czech Republic; additional countries will be considered an asset.Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience with Payroll solutions such as ADP, EY; additional payroll solutions will be considered an asset.Technical Payroll experience with knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing.Ability to think analytically and perform detail-oriented tasks.Experience working with Service Now case management and/or other case management tools preferred.Experience working with Workday.Strong time management and organization skills; ability to effectively multi-task.Strong collaboration and communication skills.Strong Excel skills including v-lookups and pivot tables, minimally.Knowledge of basic accounting practices and procedures.Knowledge of applicable payroll and related tax regulations, legislation, and guidelines including, but not limited to, writs of garnishment, child support, levies, subpoenas, equity taxation, termination laws, etc.Experience in execution of operational process improvements.Experience in Project Management.Advanced experience in O365: Word, Excel, Teams, PowerBI.Independent worker and collaborative team player.Experience with Workday as an HR system preferred.International Payroll insights preferred.Experience utilizing and reporting out of below tools, highly preferred: ADP Global viewADP CelergoEYBA/BS degree preferred.
