The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing anti-fraud measures and representing chargebacks, ensuring all disputes are handled efficiently and accurately. This role is crucial in safeguarding the company's revenue and enhancing the customer experience. The Payments & Fraud Specialist will work closely with a dedicated team in charge of the daily operations.What will you do?Chargeback Management: Oversee all aspects of the chargeback process, including receiving, investigating, and resolving chargeback disputes in a timely manner.Anti-Fraud Measures: Implement and monitor anti-fraud strategies to prevent chargebacks related to fraudulent activities.Chargeback Representment: Represent chargeback disputes, providing thorough documentation and communication with banks and customers. Define template in an iterative manner to foster increases in win rate.Data Analysis and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of chargeback cases and generate reports for the Head of Payments and other stakeholders, highlighting trends, root causes, and potential areas for improvement.Payments: Understand and collaborate in payments projects, with experience with Payment Service Providers.Payouts: Experience with Virtual Credit Cards (VCC) and issuing is a plus.Collaboration: Work closely with the dedicated chargeback team to ensure cohesive and efficient handling of all chargeback and fraud-related issues.Compliance: Ensure all chargeback activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and card network rules. Experience with PCI Compliance is a plus.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years experience in chargeback management, anti-fraud measures, or a similar role within the payments industry, with experience in both the US and European markets.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with payment processing systems.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
