Part-Time Supply Chain Coordinator

Role Overview PIC Spain, a Genus Company, has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a part-time Supply Chain Specialist to serve as a liaison between PIC and its contract multiplication partners, ensuring PIC customer needs are met and company growth targets are achieved. The position is based in our Sant Cugat office in Spain. The Logistics Coordinator has primary accountability for managing imports and exports, coordinating animal movement logistics in Spain and Portugal, and collaborating with various teams to deliver strategic goals. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience in supply chain and logistics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work with the commercial/sales team to understand customer requirements for efficient product delivery. Manage imports and exports to and from Spain effectively. Oversee the logistics of animal movement in Spain and Portugal. Coordinate with Multipliers to ensure the availability of Gilts meets orders. Manage costs within budget, focusing on transport recovery. Confirm availability entries in GenusOne (Dynamics 365). Stay proficient in new logistics technologies and practices. Develop strong relationships with Key Account Managers, Customer Services, and enabling functions such as Technical Services, Health Assurance, Genetic Services, and Finance. Requirements Minimum of a bachelor's degree; Administration and Management preferred. Minimum of 3 years' experience in supply chain/logistics; international export/import experience is an advantage. Must be a team player with problem-solving abilities. Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and prioritize workload and multitask. Ability to analyze and solve problems in an empowered, self-directed/managed work environment. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel. Experience with Microsoft D365 required. Strong communication skills. Multilingual – Spanish and English essential.
