Revolutionize the understanding of the brain through new personalized neuromodulation therapies, anywhere and at any time.Position Summary:What will you do:Develop new and existing relationships with suppliers and vendors: Active research for new alternative suppliers (raw material suppliers as well as contract manufacturers for processes or products), considering quality and price criteria.Negotiate supply contracts to ensure the supply of raw materials and services at competitive and stable prices.Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements (including records management) and spearhead continuous improvements for quality financial flow processes.Responsible for the compliant implementation of new materials as well as life cycle changes, owning the change-over plan and implementation coordination.Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, RA/QA, Operations, Product, and Customer Support teams.Managing inventory: responsible for managing inventory level to ensure that the company always has the right amount of products available to meet customer demand without overstocking or understocking.Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner and resolve business issues impeding achieving goals.Work with operations, finance, sales, and manufacturing team to determine the best vendors and distributors.Monitoring and improve the overall supply chain performance and look for any possible innovations to the process.Provide management, finance, and the business with inventory projections, service level issues, revenue constraints, and issues impacting profitability.Planning and forecasting: responsible for forecasting demand and planning production schedules to ensure the company has the right amount of products available at the right time, considering the Sales Forecast for existing products and the need for new suppliers for products under development.Define on the ERP the maximum and minimum quantities of purchasing, taking into account our needs, stock & budget limits, level of service, the delivery time of provider, and price (MRP).Purchase & cost data analysis.Review and approve the production of devices before releasing or delivering if assigned by Production & SC Director.What do you need:Must-have:University degree in a relevant engineering field (i.e., Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, etc.)1-3 years of experience in procurement in a supply chain department.Experience finding and developing new international suppliers (including China).Experience negotiating terms and conditions of supplier contracts.Hands-on experience with supply chain management software.Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office software.Strong MS Office skills.Understanding of quality standards.Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and oral.Bonus Points:Experience/knowledge in medical devices in the context of ISO 13485/ DGMP is a plus.Experience in Lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies is a plus.Knowledge of Quality Systems (e.g., Auditing, Change Control, Complaints, Deviations, CAPAs, Batch Record Review, Documentation management, Training, Supplier Management, validations, qualifications, and calibrations).Knowledge of common electronic component parameters and PCB manufacturing.Knowledge of product documentation for design controls, risk management, and production.Experience in an ERP.
