.PAG Operations Productivity & Efficiency Manager Job description Nippon Gases is one of the leading companies in the industrial and medical gases business in Europe.
We service more than 150,000 customers and have a diversified involvement in broad industries such as healthcare, food, manufacturing, metallurgy, chemical products, electronics, and energy.We are present in more than 13 countries, counting with a solid combination of onsite/piping, merchant, and package lines of business across key industrial zones.Reporting to the European Operations Director, we are looking for an Operations Productivity & Efficiency Manager to implement the highest operational standards and optimum efficiency through all the European PAG Production network, as required by the markets we serve.The main functions and areas to be covered by this position are:Productivity: Support to the regions in the implementation of the different programs and projects to meet the Productivity Plan.
Implementation of Project Replication and Best in Class programs.
Follow up of monthly results in Productivity.
Search of new opportunities to support regional plans.
Develop and implement a European Lean & Kaizen events plan in the Plants through all Europe.
Development of projects discovered and follow-up of the action plans.
PAG Operations KPIs control and improvement.
Identify deviations by country/plant and propose projects to implement cost reduction initiatives.
European Asset Management: Management of the European Recipients Pool, supporting the Procurement team & strategy.
Training in Cylinder Tracking systems.
Job requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar studies.
Previous proven experience (> 5 years) in productivity roles (Six Sigma, Lean etc.).
Previous team management experience, used to work with several stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who combines professional knowledge and experience with a high level of enthusiasm and energy.
Strong communication skills in English and also have knowledge of at least one other European language (Dutch, French, Spanish...).
Problem-solving/support-oriented attitude, proactive, result-oriented.
Interested in working in an international environment and willing to make regular business trips abroad (20%).
