AECOM's Infrastructure Team is looking to hire a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Madrid office. We are working on stages as early as feasibility studies up to detailed designs on a wide range of projects, either as a standalone civil infrastructures team or as part of multidisciplinary teams. Our clients are from the private and public sectors and include long-term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. This is an exceptional opportunity to be involved in some of the most important Civil projects in Spain, UK, Europe, and Middle East.
The ideal candidate for us must be interested in developing her/his professional career in the infrastructure design environment, participating in roads, rail, and urban projects.
Responsibilities Work in a multidisciplinary engineering team and develop technical capability as an infrastructure designer engineer for different types of infrastructures such as Road, Rail, and Urban projects.
Support the design of road, rail, and urban projects on a variety of tasks including the geometric design and utilities coordination, but also coordination with other disciplines (drainage, structures, geotechnical, etc.).
Prepare design calculations or reports related to civil infrastructure elements.
Perform civil engineering work by agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
Provide support to PM and DPM in civil discipline projects.
