We are looking for a Software Architect who can provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
Main Responsibilities Customize and optimize the Linux kernel to meet the specific requirements of the automotive environment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and application developers, to integrate the Linux-based software stack into the overall automotive system architecture.Implement robust security measures and safety-critical features in the Linux-based software.Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.Promote best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement in Linux software development for automotive applications.Be part of an agile software team located in Barcelona.Skills to Make the Difference We are looking for a professional with experience in:
Linux system design and architecture for automotive embedded systems.Hands-on experience with board bring-up, bootloader customization, and Linux distribution selection.Familiarity with automotive protocols (CAN, Ethernet, FlexRay, LIN).Understanding of RTOS and its integration with Linux.Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity and functional safety standards (ISO 21434, AUTOSAR, ISO 26262).Experience with AUTOSAR system design and architecture (a plus).Skilled in using Snort for network security on Linux systems (a plus).
