Organizational Improvement SpecialistEssity is hiring an Organization Improvement Specialist in its factory in Valls (Tarragona), who will join the Global Supply Chain team (GSC).
GSC enables the delivery of business needs through world-class supply chain performance tailored to the local needs by leveraging on the global scale, solutions, capabilities and best practices.
The role of the Organization Improvement Specialist is to identify, lead, and execute the Continuous Improvement (CI) Strategy using Lean and CI methods within their assigned business in order to achieve measurable results. This involves conducting business assessments, planning, facilitating, executing kaizen events, and ensuring sustainability through standard work and procedures. The OI Specialist will drive cultural transformation within the business by forming effective matrix teams and encouraging involvement and talent development.
As a member of the Organizational Improvement Department, you will be responsible for supporting the site (teams, technicians, management) in terms of fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This may involve acting as a coach, trainer, or program implementer. The main focus of this position is to support Essity's Global Continuous Improvement Programs, including Strategy, TPM, Digitalization, Kaizen, and Capabilities Development.
What will you do Supporting the understanding, respect, and proper implementation of the vision, mission, and Compelling Business Needs across the organization at all levels (MasterPlan, goals, and objectives).Supporting the Organizational Improvement Team in maintaining and implementing CI tools and methods through standardization and improvement.Suggesting Continuous Improvement projects based on the evaluation of operational and financial data and qualitative analysis derived from observation and discussion.Ensuring appropriate internal and interdepartmental coordination regarding continuous improvement project activities.Training the organization on Continuous Improvement Programs.Driving the Continuous Training Program and supporting the Young Talent Program by acting as a trainer, mentor, or coach when needed.Identifying opportunities to improve or develop new methods, processes, or tools throughout the factory.Coaching, counseling, and training operational managers and staff to apply, support, sustain, and develop a Continuous Improvement culture.Facilitating and leading Continuous Improvement events as a subject matter expert while empowering operational staff and associates to present ideas and create improvements and solutions.Promoting events and special activities in the factory that encourage communication and the sharing of knowledge and Best Practices.Identifying barriers to progress and executing the CI Strategy for success while acting on opportunities and threats.Building a matrix team focused on talent multiplication and utilizing individuals' experience and background.Coaching others to enhance their personal performance by setting focused targets and expectations.Providing proper rewards and recognition to individuals/teams.Creating tools, reports, and digital solutions for servicing operations.Who you are University degree in Engineering2 years of experience in a similar role.IT skills: Knowledge of basic programming and Microsoft tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, e.g.)High level of English (written and verbal) is a must; additional languages are an advantageProven skills in continuous improvement methods and tools (5s, Kaizen, TPM, SMED, others)Ability to lead improvement projects and experience in running multi-function teams effectivelyAbility to train people, at all levels.Great communication skills (able to give presentations, coordinate events and activities)What we can offer you At Essity, we believe every career is as unique as the individual and empower employees to reach their full potential in a winning culture motivated by a powerful purpose.
