Job Profile Summary
As Accounting Manager, you will be leading and inspiring your team to perform to their best. You will be owning the month-end reporting process for a number of entities.
The role will report directly to the Global Finance Controller and as a subject matter expert, you will provide support with monthly global consolidation. D365 is the primary accounting system used on a daily basis.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Monthly accounting for the Management company meeting close deadlines
Agreeing and posting inter-company revenues, costs, payroll, and expenses
Ensuring an accurate balance sheet close, fixed assets, cash and bank, and related reconciliations
Reviewing trial balance and providing explanations on main variances
Supporting the Controller with the monthly P&L and Balance sheet consolidations
Quarterly VAT return filings
Working on the annual statutory audit
Annual Accounts filings
Assist with ad hoc projects
Experience and Educational Requirements
Qualified or Part qualified Accountant (ACCA or ACA)
Experience in monthly management accounting within Industry
Experience with Dynamics365 (D365) or other large ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) preferred
Experience of dealing in a multi-currency environment
Hands-on and attention to detail
Used to working to deadlines
Flexible with strong communications and willingness to progress
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements
Knowledge of various financial management areas such as credit and collection principles, commercial credit, uniform commercial code, financial statement analysis, plan development, productivity, and profitability analysis. Understanding of Company policies, philosophy, goals, and objectives in order to affect financial oversight in protecting the company's assets.
