Operations Technician Hub Continental Europe - 12 monthsWithin Chubb Operations Hub for Continental Europe, during 12 months, you would be based in Madrid acting as Operations Technician for our Iberian branches, providing the highest standards of quality, service delivery, and accuracy within the operations function by reviewing instructions received from the Iberia Underwriting team or brokers, accurately entering premium bookings and preparing policy documentation.
To provide technical and administrative support to the management of the On-line SME portfolio at a portfolio rather than transactional level, for Financial Lines, Casualty, Cyber, and Marine. This may be extended to other LOBs.
Support the standardized model of using Ignite/ICT to provide a seamless, high-quality service to the end customer.
To support the Operations Manager as Process Owners for all retained and outsourced processing and related activities and act as Subject Matter Expert for all retained and outsourced work elements.
A flexible approach will be required to support delivery of high-quality services and outsourced activities.
Key responsibilities: To manage the user system maintenance within agreed SLAs. This will include the set-up of new access, amendments, and access removal.To manage the system set up of new products and associated policy documentation/invoice production within agreed SLAs and quality standards.Ownership and maintenance for relevant systems that the products are being managed on, this would include, but not be limited to, Template management, product and code mappings, segment references, and linkage with relevant teams to ensure appropriate interfaces to back-end systems and process.To have an in-depth understanding of processes and to adopt an ethos of continuous review with the intention of improving, error-proofing, automating, simplifying, clarifying, and eradicating any "non-value" process steps.To manage Broker Network set up and maintenance including Broker Novation's. This will include granting new access, amendments, and access removal and providing Broker Assistance.To manage and respond within SLA to all general Broker correspondence received through local mailbox accounts.To manage the manual processing of any system fall-outs within SLA.To have an in-depth understanding of the system landscape; review and identify inconsistencies to maintain data quality. (WorkView, Gennext, Genius…)Keep current on all relevant product knowledge to SME products that are managed on Ignite/ICT and to be a subject matter expert.Proactively gain and develop knowledge of all relevant lines of business to facilitate accurate processing for both retained and outsourced work elements.To review and monitor all outsourced work elements, identify type and frequency of problems or inefficiencies, track root cause analysis of rework, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.Production of relevant SOX reporting (including outsourced partners processed business) for Team Leader sign off.Undertake audits and Quality Control checking of outsourced and retained work elements to evidence the service being provided.
