Job Title: Operations and Communications Manager Location: Barcelona, Spain Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations and Communications Manager to support the leadership team, focusing on strategic operations, communications, and investor relations.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess exceptional organizational and communication skills.
This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless internal and external communications, managing investor relations, and supporting the executive team in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities: Investor and Pharma Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for investors and stakeholders.
Organize and coordinate investor meetings, presentations, and conference calls.
Prepare investor materials, including quarterly reports, presentations, and financial summaries, as well as quarterly board meeting materials.
Maintain and update the investor and pharma contact database, ensuring accurate and timely information.
Communications Support: Draft, edit, and distribute internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, and corporate announcements.
Coordinate with the team to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
Manage and update content on the company website and social media channels.
Executive Support: Assist in managing the executive team's calendars, meeting scheduling, and travel coordination in relation to fundraising activities and investor relations.
Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Event Coordination: Plan and execute company events, including investor days, conferences, and internal meetings.
Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, and travel arrangements for participants.
Administrative Duties: Maintain organized records and filing systems.
Set up and maintain the data room.
Assist with the preparation of documents, reports, and presentations.
Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the executive team.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business operations or a related role, preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
Proven experience in communications and investor relations.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish and/or Catalan is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with content management systems and other commonly used software.
High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
