Operational Risk and Internal Control Analyst (Level 5)Overview: The Operational Risk and Internal Control Analyst executes the operational, financial and compliance process mapping, identifying and deploying Internal Controls and overall risk mitigation, evaluating and testing the effectiveness of the controls according to international frameworks (COSO, SOX). This includes the identification of control gaps, the analysis of testing results, findings, development of the recommendations and action plans monitoring.
Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Controlling or a related field.Knowledge about Risk Assessment and Internal Controls frameworks such as COSO.Experience in testing/auditing operational and financial controls within a wide range of business processes.Process oriented.Strong analytical skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.English professional proficiency (minimum C1).Experience in financial services (preferred not required).Responsibilities:Performing the second line of defence control testing, according to the Group framework.Ensuring that testing evidence, sampling and work papers are adequately documented to support conclusions reached.Identifying internal controls issues and root causes, recommending controls and processes improvements, and ensuring that corrective action plans are developed and implemented.Monitoring and reviewing the first line of defense self-assessment over internal controls.Support on Operational Risk Management activities such as Incidents Management, Risk Reporting, Risk Reviews, Third Party Risk Management.About UsEbury is a FinTech success story, positioned among the fastest-growing international companies in its sector.
