Offer DescriptionWe are looking for a post-award R&I technical project manager in the Research Promotion Area of the UOC. The mission of the job will be the management of R&I and Institutional projects with public and private funding, including the internal management of the OpenEU project, a 4-year project funded for the Erasmus+ program, to establish the pillars of the first European Open University.
For the UOC, research is a priority and central to its activity. The University promotes research, transfer and innovation in online learning and the impact of technology in any discipline or activity. Specifically, its research activity focuses on the social sciences of health, the arts and humanities and information and communication technologies. Currently, the UOC has more than 50 research groups with more than 500 professionals who make up the University's R&I staff.

ResponsibilitiesFollow up the project work plan, risk management, scientific reports and contractual management of grant and consortium agreements.Participate in consortium meetings and provide support in organization and dissemination activities.Act as a link between researchers, other departments of the UOC, funding agencies, other members of the consortium and the coordinator of collaborative projects.Plan and monitor the execution of expenditure and change management (management of R&I aid budgets, technical support in project planning, feasibility analysis and redefinition of the budget if necessary, support in amendments, adjustments and response to requests, support in the preparation of financial reports and internal audits).Request and monitor labor and/or commercial contracts.Register and update projects in internal and external project management tools and control schedules and assignments (timesheets).Carry out registration, maintenance and document closing tasks.Schedule and monitor the delivery of scientific-technical, economic and audit justifications.Guarantee compliance with institutional policies and regulations and policies of funding bodies.Contribute to the operation of the Research Promotion Area and to continuous improvement in project management.The successful candidate will be awarded a temporary full-time position linked to a project, with immediate incorporation expected.
The reference headquarters will be located at 22@, Rbla. Del Poblenou, 156, in Barcelona. You will also have the possibility of teleworking, depending on organizational needs and the nature of the tasks. However, for legal reasons, it is essential to reside in Spain and hold a valid work permit.
