.The Barcelona Institute for Global Health, ISGlobal, is the fruit of an innovative alliance between academic, government, and philanthropic institutions to contribute to the efforts undertaken by the international community to address the challenges in global health.ISGlobal is looking for a field technician to work in the project SUSTAIN-MOBILISE-D project, a 2-y private-public consortium aiming to measure and validate digital mobility outcomes in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and hip fracture.LugarBarcelona, Campus MarWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORISGlobal is looking for a predoctoral researcher to work in the project SUSTAIN-MOBILISE-D project, a 2-y private-public consortium aiming to measure and validate digital mobility outcomes in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and hip fracture.MAIN DUTIESPrepare protocols for data collection of mobility and clinical outcomes.Collect mobility and clinical data from patients with COPD from 5 municipalities in the Barcelona area.Collect medical records data from primary care and hospitals in the Barcelona areaContact with Ethics Committees of 4 hospitals in the Barcelona areaTRAINING AND EXPERIENCEExperience in data collection with COPD patients.Experience in collection of mobility dataExperience in quality control of data collection.SKILLS- Capable of working autonomously.- Good verbal and written communication skills.LANGUAGES- Catalan and Spanish – to be able to communicate with patients.- Basic knowledge of English.CONDITIONSDuration: 2 yearsStarting date: 1st of July 2024Contract: (part or full time) Part timeSalary Range: TECNIC II AHOW TO APPLYApplicants must fill in the request form and include the following code reference position: PartTimeFIELDTECHNICIAN_SUSTAIN MOBILISE_June24, attach the CV and a Cover Letter.
