About this opportunity: We are looking for a People Business Partner Labor Relations with specific and strong knowledge and expertise in Spanish labor law and Industrial relations to drive our People story to secure a positive people experience that makes it easy for us to focus on our business and our customers.
In this role, you will combine both roles, being an expert in Spanish Labor relations, and being able to contribute to the implementation of HR processes, tools, and solutions and deliver HR programs and practices within different organizations in Spain. The role will support local business needs, in close cooperation with line management, HR Business Partner, and in partnership with the HR Shared Service Center and/or HR Subject Matter Expert.
What you will be expected to do in Labor Relations: Ensure compliance with local labor laws and Company's rules and regulations. Key Interface with Unions, Work Councils, Local Administration, and Legal authorities. Build and maintain a healthy labor relation environment. Drive negotiations with the Unions for all necessary labor topics. Assess and drive labor matters in mergers and acquisitions. Represent the Company in labor legal procedures and claims. Assess all other HR areas and align with line managers on any labor matters. What you will be expected to do in People Business Partnership: Execute HR programs and practices. Provide HR advice to employees and managers. Facilitate and contribute to changing programs. Interface local leaders and support. The skills you bring: Bachelor degree in Spanish Labor Law. At least 7 years' experience in Labor Relations area in the HR department in a Company or consultancy firm. Experience in the HR functional area is valuable. Substantial business acumen. Understand employee opinions and anticipate their needs and concerns. Strong project management skills and budget control in Labor Relations matters. Analytical skills. Ability to engage, inspire, and influence people. Strong ability to drive influence in a matrixed organization. Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. Proficient in English.
