With offices in Berlin, London, Barcelona and headquarters in Los Angeles, we're currently looking for a full-time Sr. Tax Manager EU based in our Barcelona office.How Do You Fit In?As a Sr. Tax Manager, you will be working closely with the EU & US Finance, Accounting, and Tax Team. Your core responsibilities include managing VAT preparation across Europe and the UK, managing direct and indirect tax audits, tracking tax deadlines, preparing/assisting in filing corporate tax returns, and helping the team with tax-related month-end as well as year-end activities. The Sr. Tax Manager is a key member of the global tax organization. This position will be reporting to the Vice President of Global Tax.Responsibilities:Collaborate with the local finance teams to manage the monthly and quarterly VAT, OSS, and Intrastat filings for all European and UK jurisdictions.Partner with the local accounting teams to ensure all tax-related balance sheet accounts, including CIT and VAT, are appropriately reconciled on a monthly and quarterly basis.Manage annual Corporate Income & Trade Tax reporting together with external tax advisors.Support the Global Tax Team in quarterly and year-end preparation of all foreign tax provisions (US GAAP and STAT).Collaborate with 3rd party advisors to document all local transfer pricing documentation in accordance with OECD guidelines.Manage all EU and UK government tax audits together with external tax advisors.Collaboration with counterparts in EU and the U.S. on any tax-related matters and strategy.Document work in accordance with US Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal audit guidelines.Required Skills:High professional regarding VAT.Solid educational background in Tax (i.e. university degree with a tax focus preferred).Proficient in English writing and language; German and/or Spanish a plus.
