Noxtec - Customer Service Technician Job Description Noxtec Development, established in 2016, part of Nippon Gases, develops, manufactures and distributes high technology medical devices with an important added value for the users and patients globally. Over the years, Noxtec has developed extensive know-how in inhaled nitric oxide therapies, starting in neonatal intensive care units and then focusing on pediatric and adult patients, playing a key role during the treatment of Covid-19 patients.
The position will be responsible for Customer Service as the first point of contact for queries for technical issues.
The final candidate will handle the Customer Service Technical Support globally, providing both virtual and face-to-face technical assistance to our customers.
Responsibilities: Conduct fault finding activities, employing suitable techniques and judgement to diagnose issues, determine fault causes, and propose effective solutions for hardware/software faults, systems, and more.
Perform calibration, electrical, and functional safety testing on a broad spectrum of medical equipment, subsequently delivering analytical condition reports.
Maintain meticulous records of equipment defects, work conducted, components utilized, and test outcomes in the designated engineering database.
Collaborate with third-party entities to procure spare parts for repairs and upgrades, and liaise with Manufacturers.
Skilfully fit replacement storage devices in medical equipment and proficiently (re)install associated software, including performing backup, recovery, and database rebuilding within specialized medical software applications.
Conduct customer and peer training both locally and internationally.
Assist in the growth and direction of business in different geographic areas.
Job Requirements: University degree in electronic engineering or similar.
At least 2 years of professional experience as a qualified technician, engineer or equivalent in medical devices.
Technical analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer-oriented attitude; deals tactfully and effectively with differences of opinion, excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English and Spanish.
Availability to travel.
Valid driving license and passport.
