About the Job
The IT Risk Management Analyst, based in Barcelona, is responsible for developing and maintaining the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework within Allianz's Non-Financial Risk Management framework. The role focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating IT-related risks, ensuring that IT systems, data, and infrastructure are resilient and compliant with global standards. The analyst will collaborate with other teams to implement risk controls, conduct risk assessments, and enhance operational resilience to protect Allianz's digital assets and ensure business continuity.
What you do
Review 1 LoD-owned BCM related Corporate Rules book
Support the review of BIA/RIA ensuring they meet the required standards
Maintain BCM risk related frameworks, as part of the holistic Non-Financial Risk Management Framework (NFRM) (incl. risk taxonomy, Control Objective, Threats)
Alignment with BCM functions on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
Prepare SvB, BoM, GFRC reporting presentations
Act as main point of contact (PoC) in Spain for OEs risk functions in relation to BCM risk management
Assist with administrative activities such as reporting, documentation maintenance, and presentations.
What you bring
Bachelor's / master's degree in economics, finance, business administration or a similar discipline
Strong analytical skills (and an eye for detail) to think critically, assess situations, and analyze and detect prospective risks and vulnerabilities.
Strong communication & interpersonal skills: excellent interpersonal abilities to build productive, trusting relationships with other IT and business stakeholders
Problem-Solving Skills
Experience in working in an international environment
Understanding of key risk management principles
3-5 years of experience, of which at least 1 year in operational risk management. Additional experience in BCM and/or Protection & Resilience area is a plus.
