Responsibilities:
Develop and execute data migration strategies and plans in alignment with project requirements
Extract, transform, and load data from various sources using ETL tools
Ensure data quality and accuracy throughout the migration process
Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve any data migration issues
Ensure compliance with data governance policies and best practices
Document data migration processes, including procedures and guidelines
Conduct data migration testing and validation to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Proven experience in data migration, preferably in a healthcare or hospital environment
Strong knowledge of ETL tools and methodologies, such as Informatica, Microsoft SSIS, or Talend
Proficiency in SQL and database administration (Oracle, SQL Server, or similar)
Familiarity with data modeling, data integration, and data warehousing concepts
Experience working with large datasets and complex data structures
