Your RoleWe're seeking a proactive Junior Insurance Claims Specialist to join our tight-knit team in Madrid. In this role, you'll handle transport insurance claims, work closely with international colleagues, and contribute to the smooth processing of policies. If you're bilingual in English and Spanish, good with numbers, and ready to learn, this could be your perfect role.
Your ResponsibilitiesHandle incoming transport insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with insurance policies for all modes of transport—road, air, and sea.Liaise with our German team responsible for placing policies, negotiating and coordinating on claims and policy details.Work closely with your small team of three in Madrid, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.Use Outlook and other Microsoft tools to manage communications and documentation effectively.Handle premium billing processes, document review, and analysis of insurance coverages and conditions.Liaise with insurance companies, clients, and other departments to facilitate smooth policy management and resolution of issues.Uphold the company's standards for compliance and data confidentiality in all insurance-related activities.Your Skills and ExperiencesFluent in both English and Spanish.Proven experience in handling insurance claims, particularly in transport.Intermediate/advanced in Excel and familiar with Outlook and other Microsoft Office tools.A Master's degree in International Transportation is a plus.Previous experience in the field in managing corporate insurance policies, particularly in the transport sector is a plus.Familiarity with transport policy and insurance processes.Able to work well within a small, close-knit team.Good with numbers and capable of managing billing processes efficiently.Strong analytical skills, ability to work collaboratively within a small team and across international departments.Good Reasons to JoinThis is a fantastic opportunity to grow within the insurance industry while enjoying a flexible and supportive working environment.
