About this project: IT-Programming / Web Development Open Buenas.We want to solve duplicities within catalogs exported from various suppliers that contain identical products to save space on the server, make the website faster, improve SEO, and avoid product duplicities on Google.The module must create a unique product record using the EAN of a product, to which suppliers can later be added with the following fields:Supplier reference (used to update the product from that supplier with the custom updaters we have running).The product will have in the "reference" field the ID of the product already in the store (if it exists) or will create a new one when it is a new product. For example, if a supplier inputs a product in a CSV or API, "blue pencil," its reference within PrestaShop will be the product ID assigned during creation, e.G., 156, since we have yellow and green pencils but no blue ones, so the product ID will be the one assigned during the creation of a new product.If it already exists, the ID of the oldest product in the store will be used by checking the EAN, and it will "merge" with the existing one, automatically filling in the fields detailed below.The field "ref. supplier" (options tab) is used for each supplier to enter their reference (this is what we use to update the fields with the configurators, so it is crucial to fill it out correctly).We refer in the options tab --> supplier reference(s).It will also mark the supplier and the product name.The PVD from each supplier (price tab --> purchase price (excl. VAT)).Each supplier provides a price, and if we want a product record to include all suppliers, we also need the PVD from each to compare prices.The EAN provided by the supplier for their product. There are items with various EANs, and although we mark a reference EAN for the product, we need each supplier to input their own because sometimes there are imported versions.The quantity of the product provided by each supplier individually. If one supplier provides 3 products and another 4, the quantity will be 3, and when they run out, it will become 4 because it will be from another supplier; it will never be the sum of both. Each supplier has their stock, which is independent of the others.
