.What do we expect from you?As a Middle Distillates Trader, you'll be at the forefront of dynamic trading and portfolio management within Diesel/Gasoil and Jet markets.Your primary mission is to grow profitability while navigating established risk parameters.You'll take charge of identifying fresh market opportunities, utilizing market insights for strategic business expansion, and taking well-informed trading decisions that align with our organizational goals.Role Responsibilities: Engage in active trading and portfolio management within Middle Distillates markets, focusing on maintaining profitability while adhering to established risk parameters.Develop and implement trading strategies and manage pricing exposures based on market intelligence.Engage in trading financial derivatives for hedging purposes and to optimize asset optionality, as well as for proprietary trading.Identify and act upon new market opportunities and business expansion, leveraging market insights and relationships to cultivate new ventures.Utilize in-depth knowledge of market risks and exposure to make well-informed trading decisions in line with organizational goals.Adjust and optimize trading strategies in response to market fluctuations, operational challenges, and supply disruptions.Share market intelligence and tactical approaches, contributing to the collective knowledge and strategic direction of the trading team.Maintain and develop relationships with key customers and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Ensure all trading activities adhere to internal and external regulations and standards while working closely with other desk members, operations, mid- and back-office and legal department colleagues, to ensure smooth operation and alignment.What are we looking for? We welcome candidates with varying experience levels, with a minimum requirement of a few years experience in commercial negotiations for storage, pipeline, transportation, and commodity contracts and a proven track record of successful trading results.
