Job Description: Media Manager South of Europe & France Cluster: We are recruiting for a Media Manager for the Southern Europe & France (SEF) Cluster to join our Digital and Media Excellence team and help us push forward our digital-first vision!
This position is based in Madrid, Spain.
Your responsibility will be to provide profound media expertise to J&J's marketing teams to accelerate our media performance and capabilities in the South of Europe & France cluster.
As the key point of contact for selected marketing teams, you will act as the connecting link to our media agency and shape the media plans of your brands - from strategy to execution in leading brands like Neutrogena, Le Petit Marseillais or Listerine.
Acting as a capability champion and partner, the SEF Media Manager will be responsible for developing innovative media strategies and executing media plans that drive the best return on investment.
She or he will also lead our Media Agency partnership - UM - ensuring there is optimum media agency performance across the cluster.
ResponsibilitiesProvide profound media expertise to J&J's marketing teams to increase effectiveness and efficiency of paid media activations.Act as sparring partner & coach for SEF marketing teams to accelerate our media capabilities (including trainings).Be the main point of contact for all media-related questions from selected brands and the connecting link to our media agency.Lead the development of media strategies (from brief to final plan) & supervise the implementation.Fully use econometrics outputs, research, and competitive insights to accelerate media performance and ROI.Optimize media spend allocation across brands throughout the year.Lead the implementation of media innovations.Core areas of media agency management include:Drive ongoing optimization of processes and ways of working with our agency partners.Agency evaluation.Organizational set-up & compensation.Qualifications10+ years of work experience in media management (at media agency or in media team).Past experience in marketing brand management a plus.Proven experience in developing & implementing effective digital media strategies.Very good understanding of all media channels, passionate for digital media and well in touch with the latest technology trends.Able to collaborate and communicate on different levels including Top Management.Good knowledge of Agile methodology & Ways of Working.Ability to prioritize while maintaining the highest attention to detail.Great teammate with high service mentality.Enjoys working in a fast-paced & constantly evolving environment.Proficient in English + French &/or Spanish a plus.Behaviours, Skills and AttributesPassion for Digital Marketing.Strategic and Analytical thinking to obtain insights and drive action.Personal impact, able to collaboratively influence others, credibility.Ability to interface effectively with executive management and functional disciplines.Big Picture Orientation with Attention to Detail.Intellectual Curiosity; providing new ways of looking at the business.Collaboration and Teaming.Excellent communication skills; ability to build, lead and influence direct reports and virtual teams.Organization & Talent Development.Sense of Urgency.Results and Performance Driven.Strong business acuity.Strong project management skills.Prudent Risk-taking.Self-awareness and Resourcefulness.Consumer & Customer focus.Adaptability for challenging the status quo.Integrity and J&J Credo-based Act.Primary LocationMadrid (Spain)
