Mechanical Engineer (M/F/X)

At Packfeeder as part of the Rotzinger Group (Swiss Industrial Multinational) we are dedicated to the design, manufacture and marketing of our worldwide patented mechanical and robotic packaging positioning machinery.Key Responsibilities:Design and Development:Create detailed mechanical designs and 3D models using CAD software. Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate designsAnalysis: Perform stress, strain, thermal or any other analysis to ensure the reliability and durability of components and systemsManufacturing Support: Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, including selecting materials and methods. Work closely with production teams to implement designsProject Management: Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are metQuality Assurance: Implement quality control procedures and standards. Conduct inspections and testing to ensure products meet specificationsDocumentation: Prepare contents for technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and maintenance guidesCompliance: Ensure designs and processes comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety codesQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related role.Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).Strong analytical skills.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials science.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong project management and organizational abilities.Effective communication (English and Spanish) and teamwork skills.Experience with quality control and assurance processes.Preferred Qualifications:Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Experience in packaging industry.Familiarity with sustainability practices and environmental impact analysis.#J-18808-Ljbffr
