Do you have a passion for designing cutting-edge Fire & Emergency Services vehicles? We're on the lookout for a skilled Mechanical Designer to strengthen our team based at our Malaga headquarters.
Role
As a key member of our Design Team, your expertise will drive projects from concept to workshop fabrication and construction. Your experience with Mechanical Design, Pumps/Piping, and the ability to create detailed models, layouts, and fabrication drawings will be instrumental in bringing our innovative projects to life.
You will be responsible for duties such as:
Designing and developing new products
Implementing design changes and revisions
Provide technical support to the workshop
Ensure the quality of deliverables in line with the relevant codes and standards, needs of the customer and regulatory authorities
Work within time constraints to coincide with project timelines
What are we looking for?
A minimum 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Designer
Certificate IV / Diploma in Mechanical / CAD Engineering
Innovative thinker with the ability to work autonomously
High degree of proficiency with 3D Solidworks
Previous sheet metal and vehicle bodybuilding experience highly regarded
High degree of competency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
Strong work ethic, commitment & ability to meet work deadlines
High attention to detail & accuracy
