The journey starts here, with you at SITA. ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM: Our OptiFlight solution will be a key pillar in SITA's contribution to a greener, more sustainable aviation through the enablement of flight and air traffic optimization.
In a context of growing business, the Team Lead OptiFlight Delivery Team will take the lead on the Delivery team to ensure smooth transition from Sales to Operations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: Organize, lead, motivate and support day-to-day a team of engineers in aeronautics.Manage and assign team workload.Oversee team projects.Facilitate communication and coordination within the team and with stakeholders.Identify process improvement opportunities and implement changes for better team performance.Manage resources to deliver training and implementation activities on time, budget and scope on all customer contracts.Assume leadership role for the delivery process for Optiflight product, taking ownership of the technical aspects of the projects.Operational Excellence: strengthen customer relationships by providing the expected level of service.Manage the correct functioning and the incidents related to the product.Report and escalate high severity problems to proper SITA business escalation points as per documented escalation procedures.Work with cross functional teams (E&T, Sales, Product) to support the growth and evolution of the product.Qualifications: EXPERIENCE: At least 7 years of experience, preferably some in management position.Airlines, Flight Operations, and fuel efficiency understanding.Experience in Information Technology.Experience in international environment.Project Management experience.Experience as a team lead minimum, people manager experience is a plus.NICE-TO-HAVE: ITIL certification.Bachelor or Master degree in Aeronautics.WHAT WE OFFER: SITA's workplace is all about diversity, many different countries and cultures are represented in our workforce.
