DESCRIPTION
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a talented, self-driven Marketing Program Manager to lead the development, leadership, and execution of Iberia marketing programs and events. This unique opportunity allows you to play a pivotal role in our exciting and fast-growing business. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing regional marketing initiatives that accelerate awareness and adoption of AWS's cloud computing platform, services, and solutions across Spain and Portugal. Taking a proactive, customer-obsessed and data-driven approach, you'll craft highly impactful local programs that drive engagement at the local level, while supporting the overarching EMEA and Global marketing programs.
A key aspect of your responsibilities will be establishing a deep understanding of the customer decision journey, enabling you to create nurture programs that closely align with their needs. By partnering with key stakeholders from the local sales organization, business development, and EMEA and Global marketing teams, you'll build and accelerate the pipeline in the Iberia region. Your efforts will focus on elevating AWS's brand awareness across the region through a strategic utilization of events and other channels, including email, social media, web, trade shows, and corporate events.
Through collaborative cross-functional efforts and a commitment to delivering measurable impact, you'll play an instrumental role in driving cloud technology adoption and business growth in this dynamic market.
Key job responsibilities
Oversee and execute all aspects of the AWS Experience Center in Madrid and similar extensions into other Iberia regions (e.g. corp events and trade shows, digital campaigns, social media, remote events, email, AWS owned and operated channels, among others), including managing external vendors and agencies, allocating budget, developing programs and extending EMEA and Global initiatives.
Create comprehensive event project plans, conduct regular checkpoints with deliverable owners, escalate risks and challenges appropriately and ensure events are delivered on time and on budget.
Think big to deliver new ideas and creative approaches to constantly improve the customer experience of the experience center.
Create reports and business review documents, including business health, KPI status and ongoing analysis of results aimed to optimize programs and share insights and learnings across the entire customer journey.
Foster the culture of marketing innovation, built on data to measure and understand customer success.
Be an excellent verbal and written communicator with strong analytic and quantitative skills.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of professional marketing experience across campaigns, operations, and programs, preferably in a B2B environment
Proven track record of successfully executing high-impact marketing campaigns, events, and programs utilizing digital marketing channels (social media, email, websites, advertising)
Experience with marketing technologies, MarTech stack, including marketing automation (Marketo), CRM (Salesforce.com), social media platforms, data analysis, and reporting tools
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in multi-territory campaign management
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
Experience equally comfortable building strategic marketing plans and executing at a tactical level
