BCG's Energy Practice Area supports companies and organizations to shape and transition the energy industry towards a low carbon future.
Our key focus is on private and public sector steps to accelerate the energy transition.
Clients we serve include oil and gas companies, power and utilities corporations, renewables companies, tech companies, governments, etc.
We provide the expertise and capabilities to enable organizations to successfully navigate times of disruption and rapid change in a new emerging energy future.
The Energy Marketing manager will primarily be focused on supporting the development of our content agenda (thought leadership and commercial content), developing social media campaigns and assets to amplify BCG's thought leadership primarily on our Energy LinkedIn page and to continue the growth of followers and engagement rate.
Finally, the marketing manager will provide varying levels of strategic, operational, and logistics support for priority external engagement programs (i.e., 3rd party events).
YOU'RE GOOD AT: YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS): 5-7 years of relevant marketing experience in a professional services environmentExperience at BCG or similar management consulting environment a plusBachelor's degree with demonstrated academic achievementKnowledge of marketing systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferredExperience working with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, SprinklrMust have excellent written and oral English skillsExcellent interpersonal skills, able to engage all levels of senioritySelf-starter and good at prioritizingDemonstrated organizational skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple parallel tasksCommitment to execution and attention to detail YOU'LL WORK WITH: BCG's marketing team drives the firm's reputation as a thought leader.
We work to strengthen and protect BCG's brand, advance our business agenda, and partner with management to engage with our key audiences through tools such as global thought-leadership publications, public relations, alumni outreach, recruitment marketing, and social media.
The marketing manager will work as part of our virtual marketing team across the world and different time zones, but also collaborate with colleagues from across BCG's global centers of expertise.
The role reports to and collaborates closely with the global marketing director for the energy practice.
