The Marketing Coordinator role is a vital role in supporting the Marketing Director in continuing to maintain and exceed the delivery of high standards in all aspects of Digital Home Entertainment and TV Distribution marketing, and to help drive forward the success of our distribution business.The role will also closely align and collaborate with the Iberia Commercial team for the Digital Home Entertainment business, working to drive success with our digital retail partners (Prime Video, Orange, Rakuten, etc.).This position aims at covering maternity leave for a 7 to 8 months' period and is based in our Madrid office and will report to the Marketing Director for our TV Distribution & Networks activities for Iberia (Spain & Portugal). The ideal start for this position will be at the end of August 2024 until Mid-April 2025.What you'll do:Feature Film - Title and Product ManagementResponsibility for managing marketing budget, campaign and product P&L on allocated SPE feature film launches across all Transactional Home Entertainment new releases and catalogue campaigns;Support the Feature Film pitch process with key partners, to help excite and engage them about upcoming releases and licensing opportunities;Ensure all media, digital and creative agencies are briefed and closely managed through the campaign process, ensuring campaigns are delivered to a high standard;Ensure franchise and catalogue plans and opportunities are brought to the relevant commercial teams in a timely and engaging fashion to ensure we are best monetizing SPEs lucrative film library;Collaborate with the appointed agency to manage and coordinate, review and approve all social media activity on a monthly basis;Ensure industry insight, future trends and competitor tracking are utilized to drive new innovative marketing solutions across titles;Conduct post-mortems to assess ROI in conjunction with Marketing, Commercial and Finance, ensuring 'Best Practice' Sharing with Western Europe Regional team.TV Series Pre-Sales SupportSupport the Marketing Director in driving a proactive pre-Sales marketing approach for all new, returning and priority TV Series;Deliver promptly on requests for marketing support materials from the Sales Team including Decks, E-blasts, Trailers and Promos etc. and briefing in-house and external agencies where required;Support TV clients with timely sourcing and delivery of asset requirements.Internal & External RelationshipsAct as the main point of contact for creative and media agencies;Act as the main marketing contact for retail partners for asset and metadata requests;Build strong relationships with marketing counterparts in other territories, particularly the UK based regional Western Europe team;Build strong relationships with internal Commercial and Sales Planning colleagues;Support the Marketing Director in the organisation and delivery of in-market live and virtual screening events;Provide additional support where required, including PR agency liaison on content plans, access to social media assets and general activation support for the transactional business;Work with LA office to obtain and approve localised product assets and create bespoke materials to be used across retail and media platforms.Planning, Monitoring & Reporting, and otherAttend all internal marketing calls, both Western Europe and Home Office, and act as the point person for reporting back to the team on highlights and key information shared;Support the Marketing Director by driving and owning the creation and delivery of post-campaign reports for all major title releases, including performance and key learnings to also help inform future campaigns;Check partner stores weekly to confirm that our titles are being featured as agreed, that the correct packshots and translated synopses have been used and reporting back on any issues;Create and update various spreadsheets for the home entertainment department including release date and spend tracking and monitor competitive activity;Create purchase orders and set up and edit new vendors in our systems;Assist with translations and proofreading where required;Updating TV release trackers and spreadsheets.What you have:Typically, a bachelor's degree in marketing and 2+ years of experience in Marketing, preferably in the entertainment or media sector.Proven track record in delivering creative, innovative and commercial marketing campaigns in a complex multi-faceted organization or environment.Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects in a dynamic / changing environment and seeing those projects through to completion.Experience of managing agencies and third parties.Strong interpersonal skills required and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.Ability to influence, negotiate and persuade others.Business minded, commercially focused.Self-motivated team player and facilitator.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in both Spanish and English is expected.Sony Pictures Entertainment is committed to equal opportunity in all its employment practices, policies and procedures.
