JOB PURPOSE The Marketing Automation Specialist works with our company-wide marketing automation solution to ensure excellence of the email marketing campaign architecture, creation, set-up, execution and monitoring. The role is within the Digital Marketing & Customer Engagement Team, situated in our global Headquarters in Basel, with the bespoke position located in Madrid, Spain. The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for executing revenue-driven campaigns with the marketing automation platform by fully leveraging its capabilities. The position holder works closely with designers, developers and project managers to execute email marketing campaigns, lead nurturing programs, and marketing automation initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of marketing automation tools, email marketing best practices, and data-driven decision making. Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Manage and drive all aspects of Marketing Automation and directly support the Head of Marketing Operations Studio in Madrid. Develop and execute email marketing campaigns (including promotional campaigns), newsletters, drip campaigns, and automated email campaigns to support various marketing initiatives. Create and manage email marketing templates, workflows, and triggers to automate email campaigns and lead nurturing programs. Support the management, development and maintenance of the marketing automation platform, ensuring that it is fully integrated with other marketing tools and systems. Conduct A/B testing and optimization of email campaigns to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates. Support the development and maintenance of a lead scoring model and lead qualification process to improve lead quality and conversion rates. Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics based on data-driven insights, including engagement rates, conversion rates, and ROI. Database management with segmentation, list acquisition/import, data cleansing, web form capture, lead management, etc. Be an expert throughout the entire customer data value chain from data capture, storage, processing, segmentation, activation, and visualization. Support the SAP Marketing Cloud platform development based on Agile/Scrum methodology
