The Marketing Automation Manager will serve as the Marketing team's resident authority on the marketing automation platform (currently Hubspot), using the software and CRM to improve the funnel velocity by executing education, awareness-building, and nurturing activities, landing pages, and multi-touch campaigns/journeys. It requires planning, hands-on implementation, project management, agility with data sources and segmentation, data analysis, and creative problem solving. The Marketing Automation Manager will assess, deploy and expand a variety of marketing automation campaigns assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs). He/she will create, implement and improve best practices ensuring continual improvement of marketing automation projects. You will be obsessive about maximizing opportunities at the top and middle of the funnel to improve volume and quality of our leads and ready for sales. This position can be based in either Portugal, Spain, or the U.K., with a mix of home office and office-based environment.
The Marketing Automation Manager will work with the entire global marketing team to deliver marketing leading performance for our customers. You will also work with and across function departments including Sales, Product Management, Customer Care, and Finance.
Main Responsibilities: Bring the ability to visualize and translate onsite marketing campaign conceptual ideas into technical execution. Define and document the functional and technical requirements for executing (developing, deploying, managing, tracking and measuring) the automated campaigns. Own the workflows for complex processes such as lead qualification, lead scoring, lead routing, lead assignment, drip campaigns, and trigger-based workflows. Plan and execute complex projects around customer journeys, and prioritize campaign execution. Practice rigorous adherence to project management best practices to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery to multiple internal stakeholders. Maintain marketing automation integration with CRM and assist in the integration of additional platforms into the marketing automation software, such as CDP, AEM, etc. Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards. Plan and perform A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth. Develop partnerships with internal stakeholders to support campaign and project planning, prioritization, and delegation. Participate in process improvement efforts related to marketing automation. Professional Qualifications / Experience: A relevant degree or equivalent experience in a similar role with a strong track-record of Marketing is preferred. Previous experience of working with a technical B2B company or a production, manufacturing, or technical environment would be helpful. Key Competencies: Significant experience in digital marketing communications and experience using marketing automation platforms such as Hubspot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or other. Bachelor's degree in relevant field, including marketing, business, or other. Experience establishing A/B tests and multivariate tests, evaluating performance, and iterating for improved outcomes. Ability to think of the customer first, intuitively understanding their needs.
