Role: Managing Director / Country Manager Location: Madrid, Spain Industry: Project Logistics (EPC / Energy / OEM / Industrial) The Company: JBAndrews is working with an industry leading Global Freight Forwarder looking to add a Managing Director / Country Manager Spain to their Project Logistics team based out of Madrid. You will provide commercial, operational, and strategic direction in a ground-up opportunity to take ownership and develop the entire vertical within the Spanish region. The Role: Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Project Logistics vertical across Spain, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives. Drive business growth, identify new opportunities, and develop innovative solutions to meet customer needs whilst maximizing profit margins. Foster and maintain strong relationships with key EPC, Energy and OEM clients, acting as their trusted advisor, understanding their unique requirements. Develop and implement a comprehensive market strategy for Spain, including market analysis, identifying opportunities, and setting strategic goals to expand the business. Lead and motivate a team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to achieve performance targets and foster a culture of excellence. Collaborate with other departments, including operations, sales, and finance, to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency. Take P&L responsibility and financial accountability for the overall performance of the region. The Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. 10 years experience within Freight Forwarding / Project Logistics Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of successfully managing and motivating teams to achieve exceptional results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Ability to travel as and when necessary.
