(M-951) | Le-715 | Vice President/Associate, Business Performance BarcelonaWhat is the opportunity? The Client Group (CCG) provides financial solutions and advice to mid-market clients. The team is responsible for meeting annually established targets for revenues and returns while providing advice to key partners in order to fulfill broader RBC relationship goals. The CCG Business Performance team plays a vital role in the realization of CCG's planning, directing, and overseeing the group's operational policies, rules, initiatives, and goals. The team supports the group's execution of both short-term and long-term plans by implementing judgement, vision, management, and leadership.
What will you do? Interact with CCG national leaders in order to develop presentations for senior management. Leverage deep analytical and modelling skills to provide meaningful insights and advice to enable sound business decision-making and performance outcomes. Lead efforts to develop, enhance and automate business performance reports and processes. Lead in volume and capacity planning needs of CCG Operations Officer and Finance business partners. Perform analysis as required and independently to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost management and product improvement. Analyze and articulate business and financial impact of strategic business decisions to senior leaders with CCG. Develop and establish sales KPIs that assess and highlight areas of risk across divisions while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and risk appetite. Ensure a continuous improvement culture with particular focus on value-added processes.
What do you need to succeed? Must-have: 5 years of experience in professional financial analysis and reporting. CA, CMA, CGA, or CFA combined with a Degree in Business, Economics or Finance. Professional written and verbal communication skills are an absolute must when interacting and communicating with Senior leaders. Strong quantitative and analytical skills with an ability to drive insights from financial data. Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment with a high level of attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to perform well under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines.Nice-to-have: Ability to create Excel macros and improve reporting efficiencies. Experience with forecasting, planning and budgeting processes.What's in it for you?
