The role is part of a team of (currently) nine sales investment professionals located in Frankfurt, Madrid, and Amsterdam.
You will support the broader CE Investments Team, comprising 55+ client-facing investment professionals.
In this role, you will work closely with key stakeholders in Continental Europe and our UK Headquarters to grow our existing business and explore new markets.
Responsibilities Business Development: Contribute to new business development by raising market awareness of our investment fund solutions, fiduciary services, insurance-solutions, and advisory services across our core markets and beyond (incl.
Ireland).
Cross-Selling: Identify cross-selling opportunities across the WTW portfolio, including insurance consulting, technology (ICT), retirement incl.
actuarial services (RET) as the most likely LOBs to work with.
Pension brokerage in respect to the unit-linked business is another source to tap into – especially in France.
Client Relationship Management: Develop trusted client relationships by providing high-quality consulting advice and services with our target group defined above as focus.
Internal Collaboration: Build strong internal relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues across Continental Europe and the wider WTW network.
Connecting dots and identifying smart connections to fully leverage the WTW CE network will be a main priority.
Strategic Support: Support senior Growth Leaders in executing strategic initiatives especially in product development tailored to the needs and specifics of the CE market.
Service Expertise: Gain a deep understanding of our main advisory and fiduciary services, including our Pooled Fund Solutions (SPS), and how these can solve particular client needs.
Client Understanding: Use active listening skills to understand client needs thoroughly and apply sales acumen to propose tailored solutions that meet those needs.
Product Development/Service Offering: Identify specific client needs not yet covered by the market or competitors as well as service offerings which we can build to better address our clients' / prospects' needs.
Qualifications Experience: 5-7 years of proven experience with a strong understanding of the sales process.
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.
An interest in economics and finance is essential.
A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is a plus for candidates with non-finance/economics-related degrees.
Language Skills: Fluent in English and another CE language.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Travel: Open to travel regularly as the role is defined as within the CE set-up as a X-country team.
