Your Role : As a member of the Implement Services Product Line Management team, you will be responsible for developing and evangelizing Ciena's Implementation services globally.
This includes enabling sales and operations teams to maximize opportunities and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Specifically, this role will be located in Ciena's Europe & the UK region and will help drive process and sales enablement.
Responsibilities As a member of the Implement SPLM team, responsibilities include: Handle day-to-day portfolio opportunities, act as lead on specific deals & provide RFP response inputs.
Develop, track and manage offers through the New Service Introduction Process and work with marketing to define sales enablement and customer awareness plans.
Develop and track KPI's relative to industry benchmarks including business metrics, portfolio performance, and competitive offer assessment.
Lead Sales Enablement of portfolio strategy with field team to drive the adoption of targeted offers.
Assess Portfolio opportunities, pricing, cost-saving measures, and market inflection points that are critical to the Ciena business.
Capture customer requirements from our franchises, sales teams, and other sources to develop new opportunities for the portfolio and ensure requirements are integrated into services roadmap plans.
Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent years of job-related industry experience.
10+ years of working in telecommunications.
3+ years of Product Line Management experience.
The ability to take broad direction and drive tasks to closure.
A sense of urgency and sensitivity to customer timelines.
Strong collaboration skills with product management, engineering, sales, and customers.
Strategic, critical, and creative thinking skills with a strong business sense.
