.Gameto is seeking a full time Research Embryologist to be part of a dynamic, dedicated, and growing team in Madrid.
About You Key Responsibilities Work on site at Gameto partner clinics in Madrid and elsewhere to help conduct our preclinical and clinical studies.
Report results back to US team and interface with Embryology Manager on a regular basis.
Proficiency and independent execution of all basic and advanced IVF laboratory procedures.
Scrupulously follow laboratory SOPs as well as comply with all safety policies and standards.
Meet quality standards and numerical goals for laboratory procedures.
Conduct daily quality control activities.
Create weekly presentations, communicate clear research results, and perform concise data entry.
Interface with regulatory bodies to determine relevancy for research projects.
Interface with clinical sites and collaborators in Spain.
Contribute to research study design and management.
Perform all ancillary duties as requested to maintain a clean and functional laboratory, including equipment maintenance and inventory control.
Perform all andrology services, including preparation of semen samples for artificial inseminations and IVF.
Perform laboratory quality control (QC), quality assessment (QA), and participate in quality improvement (QI) programs, record keeping, and collection of data.
Conduct oocyte cryopreservation and oocyte maturation.
Qualifications 4+ years of experience in Human Embryology & Assisted Reproduction.
Bachelors in one of Life Sciences disciplines or in Chemistry required; a degree in Reproductive Biology preferred.
Minimum 2+ years experience in a clinical laboratory setting performing basic embryology techniques with experience in in-vitro fertilization.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Demonstrated ability to function as a team player.
