We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Low Voltage Designer to join our team, focusing on structured cabling, access control, CCTV, and audiovisual (AV) integration for commercial and multi-family projects.This hybrid role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create and deliver accurate, compliant low voltage system designs.The ideal candidate will bring strong design experience, field expertise, and proficiency in AutoCAD.Established in 2009, our organization has grown to become a leader in the structured cabling and technology services industry.Through a collaborative and innovative culture, the team has developed expertise in infrastructure, security,and smart technologies for large-scale developments.With a vendor-agnostic approach, detailed designs, and meticulous execution, we have built a reputation for delivering solutions that enhance safety, productivity, and connectivity.Serving nearly 900 clients globally, our team of over 65 professionals provides technology solutions that meet the needs of building owners, general contractors, and businesses.
Key Responsibilities: Create detailed low voltage system designs and layouts using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Inkscape.
Develop field scope documents, as-built documents, riser diagrams, and design proposals to support installation and integration.
Prepare one-line drawings, conduit layouts, and MDF/IDF elevations.
Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure seamless implementation of low voltage systems.
Support design needs by utilizing software to produce accurate documentation and compliance with industry standards.
Coordinate with installation teams to address design-related challenges during execution.
Required Skills and Experience: RCDD certification is required.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
5+ years of experience in low voltage design, including structured cabling, access control, CCTV, and AV systems.
Strong knowledge of fiber cabling, copper cabling, and intrusion detection systems.
Experience with preparing detailed design documents such as riser diagrams, one-line drawings, and as-built documentation.
Familiarity with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Inkscape for project coordination and design is a plus.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Experience in commercial projects; familiarity with multi-family developments is a plus.
Benefits & Compensation: The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
