In this role, you will design APIs that strike the perfect balance between developer experience, product thinking, and technical requirements, ensuring each API is intuitive and efficient.
You will assess architectural needs, selecting between REST, gRPC, AsyncAPI, and other protocols to best fit the requirements of each project.
You will provide advisory services and consulting to teams from different areas of the company, improving API design and ensuring adherence to our guidelines.
You will also propose tools and processes to enhance the API Design workflow and mentor other API Designers and Developers across Engineering and Product teams.
Your work will help shape the future of our APIs and ensure scalability, usability, and performance.Work Location: 100% remote, only SpainMain tasks and accountabilities will be:Collaborate on the design of APIs across different product lines, interfacing with multiple product and business stakeholders.Assess architectural needs, selecting between REST, gRPC, AsyncAPI, and other protocols to best fit the requirements of each project.Provide advisory services and consulting to multiple teams, improving API design and ensuring adherence to our guidelines.Propose tools and processes to enhance the API Design workflow.
