This position reports to Business Manager - E2E Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will be joining a highly motivated and diverse team with the role of supporting the marketing communication needs of the local Business Line within the ABB Process Industries division, with some support of the ABB Marine and Ports division (15%).
You will work closely with the Spanish Local Management and Sales Teams and the Business Line Communications Leads to develop, localize and implement integrated marketing communications programs within the approved budget – including marketing communications, web content, and digital marketing – to educate and inform external stakeholders, including customers, trade media and interest groups, about ABB's portfolio and references.
You will also coordinate, prepare and drive internal local communications and ensure executional excellence for all communications in line with ABB brand positioning and identity, as well as global/local strategy.
The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: Supporting the execution of the global marketing and communications strategy, with a strong focus on storytelling, thought leadership and lead generation and nurturing – and translating global business line priorities into action plans for the local unit Assist the local management and the sales teams with communications materials (including presentations, speeches, success stories, articles, social media posts and employee recognition) Manage and organize participations of the local unit in global and local events such as trade exhibitions or external customer seminars Design and develop digital marketing and automation programs to generate and nurture qualified leads Coordinate, prepare and drive internal local communications Qualifications for the role University's degree preferably in journalism / communication / marketing / or related field Min 5+ years of experience in marketing communications, ideally in communication agency or related B2B industries Established project management skills with the ability to manage several projects at the same time Strong writing, editing, proofreading capabilities with the ability to explain technology in an easy and engaging way A team player with a creative personality and strategic mindset as well as a passion for analytical thinking, able to come up with new and fresh ideas while ensuring consistency with brand and BL positioning Possess knowledge of digital marketing and marketing automation (SalesForce, Pardot, etc.)
