As a Beazley employee, you also get access to our fantastic array of benefits which include commuting reimbursement, free in-office lunch, six months parental leave and a lifestyle allowance, amongst many others.Job Title: Legal Counsel - European LinesDivision: Specialty RisksReports To: As per Beazley's organisation chartKey Relationships: Business Management, Beazley Digital, Specialty Risks Underwriters, Compliance, Innovation and Product Development and all other relevant stakeholdersJob Summary Provide underwriting and wordings support to assigned Beazley Digital and Specialty Risks teams or focus groups and general support across Beazley Digital, Specialty Risks and other Beazley trading teams as necessary.Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary focus is on drafting policy wordings and endorsements to support business/underwriting objectives of the assigned Beazley Digital and Specialty Risks teams/focus groups.Support the European Underwriters across Multi-Lines including Management Liability, Professional Liability and Cyber both large risk and mass risk.Line manage direct reports.Assist with regulatory projects where there is wordings impact.Assist focus groups in addressing coverage issues raised in the underwriting and negotiation process.Provide high quality and timely response to queries raised.Provide support and advice on underwriting, product development, and coverage issues.
