With your expertise, we can achieve great goals together.To strengthen our team in León, we are looking for you as a Legal Counsel with a focus on Commercial Law .The position is based in León (Spain), but you will have a global role, reporting functionally to the corporate Legal Department in Munich (Germany), and reporting locally to the Site in León.Your ResponsibilitiesAdvising the local business teams and the WACKER business divisions on all legal issues in close cooperation with the Munich legal team.Drafting, reviewing and revising commercial contracts and other contracts relevant to the local business teams and / or the WACKER business divisions as well as supporting the business teams in contract negotiations - independently and with the support of a senior counsel.Supporting interdisciplinary projects from a legal perspective.Legal research, drafting of expert opinions and statements.Preparation and drafting of general terms and conditions, contract templates and sample clauses.Close exchange with the legal departments in Germany, China and the USA.Development and implementation of training measures.Monitoring legislation and case law.Your profileEducation :Fully qualified lawyer (m / f / d) :Degree in LawOfficial Master in Legal Practice.Successfully completed Spanish Government examination.ExperienceAt least 4 years of professional experience in a law firm and / or as inhouse lawyer at a company.Experience in CDMO business / Biotech industry is an advantage.Experience providing legal advice to commercial or business teams.SkillsVery good knowledge of Spanish and international contract and commercial Law.Business fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English; experience abroad is anadvantage.Pragmatic and solution-oriented approach to legal issues.Strong ability to grasp and analyze complex issues, reduce them to the essentials and present them in an understandable way.Entrepreneurial thinking.Enthusiasm for working in interdisciplinary and international teams.Decisiveness, assertiveness and persuasiveness.Confident appearance, very good team and communication skills.Initiative, independence and strong ability to collaborate across departments.You can find an overview of benefits at WACKER on our careers page
