The EBMT is a non-profit medical and scientific organisation established in 1974 which hosts a unique patient registry providing a pool of data to perform studies and assess new trends.

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSTThe post-holder will be responsible for carrying out data management and data quality activities within the Registry and for putting in place processes that ensure validation of the incoming data and also of the tools necessary to collect it and disseminate it.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKSData Management: Design, implementation and testing of new data collection processes including DCF development. Design data quality reports, running data quality reports and undertake appropriate actions. Check, modify/clean, archive, transfer data. Data retrieval including designing data reports and data report running. Test data capture front end features and investigate reported software/database errors. Ensure software/database improvements and error correction. Carry out computerized system validation activities. Contribute to computerized system validation documentation.Project Coordination and Communication: Coordinate various data management related project activities within the Registry. Contribute to the implementation of new databases and software. Maintain excellent relations and effective communication with EBMT staff, EBMT Members Centres, National Registries as well as EBMT and non-EBMT stakeholders.Planning and Reporting: Assist in the achievement of KPIs for data management and data quality activities as set by Senior Management. Create report running schedules. Schedule automated report running and also run ad hoc data management reports in the relevant EBMT databases as requested.Service Development: Assist with service development through project coordination and communication with all relevant parties.Training: Carry out and assist with Data Management related training.Requirements2+ Work experience in Data ManagementExperience working for projects, with indicators and goalsFamiliarized with Clinical knowledge and medical data (ideally HSC transplant programs and new cell therapies)Fluent in English, excellent oral and written skillsAnalytical thinkingInitiativeOriented to detail, thoroughNICE-TO-HAVESUniversity level in the field of biomedical sciences, health care and/or bio informatics or similarExperience with clinical databases (preferably ProMISe and/or Castor)R, Python, and/or SQLWHAT WE OFFERBe part of a non-profit society where you can make a differenceWork alongside a multicultural and diverse international teamBased at EBMT offices 2 days per week and working remotely 3 days.Full-time position and permanent contract (37,5 hours/week)Salary: 23.000 - 27.000 gross/year (DM Junior) or 30.000 - 35.000 (DM Senior) (depending on previous experience)Flexible working hours (starting from 8 to 10 am and finish accordingly)Some foreign travelSupport in training and professional developmentLocation (Hybrid)
