Responsibilities Your role as a Labor Matters Specialist will involve: Analyze current work practices and policies (i.E., Equality Plan) to determine overall state of employee relations and make changes to ensure compliance with regulations.
Oversee legal contract terminology and suggest additional rules and regulations as necessary.
Develop and present informational briefings for management to improve understanding of labor laws and promote management solutions.
Provide advice in contract termination.
Qualifications To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Degree in Law and a master's in labor relations or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in human resources or employee relations.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and oral.
Ability to effectively solve problems and make decisions.
Listening skills as well as the ability to understand people's background and motives.
Ability to present information and have conversations with employees and managers from different levels.
