Come explore Novanta.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and execute manual technical verification protocols (Software, Hardware or Firmware based).Develop, implement, and execute manual functional verification protocols.Execute regression tests for each new release.Develop and implement automatic verification protocols to ensure continuous integration.Document, communicate and prepare quality reports with the results of the verifications.Hands-on new hardware board bring-up and system debugging.Required Experience, Education, Skills and CompetenciesEnrolled in an Engineering Degree or Master Program.Experience with hardware bring-up and troubleshooting. Understand schematics and use of laboratory instruments is a must.Knowledge of programming with Python.Knowledge of Version Control Software (GIT, SVN).Able to work from specifications, technical manuals, schematics, and verbal/written instructions.Fluent written and spoken Spanish/English.The position requires the following skills and abilitiesStrong communication skills to be able to collaborate and present solutions clearly.Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.Travel RequirementsLess than 10%Physical RequirementsMobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer.Ability to use vision to read computer screen and read printed materials.Please call +1 (phone hidden) if you need a disability accommodation for any part of the employment process.
