The PositionKey Account Manager (Private Sector)
The Private Sector has been growing over the last years (+5% vs 2022). Currently, in Spain, we have more than 12 million persons with private insurance (24% of the universe), with 441 Private Hospitals (54% vs total Hospitals) and a significant number of Health Care Professionals (278 M HCP) in this sector.
The majority of visits to private specialists are focused on Organon audiences, such as Traumatologists, Gynecologists, and Dermatologists. Due to these figures and opportunities in this area, the Private Sector is an important source of business for Organon now and in the future.
ResponsibilitiesAchieve annual sales objectives for assigned health private accounts (hospitals, wholesalers, etc.) by leveraging relationships to penetrate existing accounts and prospect for new health private customers.Build and apply understanding of health private customer organizations and networks to develop relationship maps.Develop and maintain strong, effective, and constructive relationships with external health private customers/partners.Formulate comprehensive and insightful key account plans to build, manage, and improve trustful relationships with key stakeholders.Identify and ensure sales opportunities through customer impacts (calls, digital impact, etc.) on the key accounts.Support and collaborate with other Business Units to gain product access in key private accounts.Prioritize and manage accounts by assessing appropriate business opportunities through contacts with key decision-makers and important local players.Adapt to new business opportunities and changes in the marketplace to achieve financial objectives.Conduct competitive intelligence to analyze the environment, territory sales, and competitors.Perform local marketing and sales analyses and gain patient flow insights.Track and communicate KPIs and performance metrics as defined in the account plan.Develop relationships always under compliance.Identify and raise relevant issues and propose potential solutions through appropriate internal and external channels.Work effectively across the organization to advance opportunities.Education, Experience, and SkillsUniversity degreeMBA/Postgraduate highly valuableExperience Required:3 years in Marketing & Sales in Health/Pharmaceutical environment2 years' experience in account managementSkills:Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.Strategic Account Planning: Identifying growth opportunities within customer accounts.Communication and Negotiation: Effective communication and negotiation skills.Financial and Analytical Acumen: Account forecasting and budget management, with the ability to use analytical skills to support clients.Project Management and Organization: Coordinating and planning activities for complex accounts.Proactivity in pursuing ideas and transforming them into innovations of proven economic value.Cross-functional skills to ensure optimal alignment and effective implementation.Drive and Commitment.Advanced in Spanish and fluent in English.As an equal opportunity employer, we welcome applications from candidates with a diverse background.
