Responsibilities Design and lead research life-cycle from beginning to end.
Proactively communicate findings and recommendations that will better define customer and user requirements while defining the problems we should work on next.
Provide practical insights in a compelling way based on research results.
Identify and prioritize opportunities that Andela could potentially explore and develop to stay ahead in the market.
Work closely with all product teams, so they understand the value of user research and testing.
Assist product designers to validate proposals, and work closely with development teams to ensure the accurate implementation of proposed solutions.
Conduct meetings with partners to explain the value of user research and better understand user needs.
Be up to date on the latest methods and research trends.
Drive leadership success by connecting user research to business impact.
Requirements 7+ years of experience in product research.
Have led research teams at scale.
Proven experience in end-to-end UX research process both in-person and remotely.
Ability to quickly adapt to changing business environment.
Experience and understanding of the development process between engineering, product management, and product design.
Experience in improving design processes while working with your partners such as marketing and engineering.
Familiarity with design systems and design tools such as Figma and Sketch.
Phenomenal communication at every level with the ability to flex between executives and team members.
Enjoy working on a cross-discipline team of engineers, product managers, project managers, and other designers.
