ROLE DESCRIPTION EXPECTATIONS AND TASKSBusiness Development Experts provide leadership and drive the execution of growth plans across the target market for both Software and Cloud environments, cross-industry and customer segment. Responsibilities include:
Defining our competitive advantage and establishing key reasons for customers and prospects to leverage cloud deployment models and other innovative technologies to achieve strategic business objectives.Guiding efforts to develop local capabilities with time, enabling market leadership to respond most quickly to growth opportunities.Driving syndication of best practice programs, tools, methods, and processes to accelerate profitable performance and market penetration.Identifying, evaluating, and executing on investment opportunities.Collaborating closely with local Sales leaders to ensure buy-in, Best Practice, and win-win.Ensuring that work streams are delivered on scope, on budget, and on time; coordinating periodic status meetings and being responsible for detailed status reporting to applicable global, regional, and local leadership.Identifying performance improvement ideas and working with the leadership to implement these ideas.Coordinating with global teams on operational topics such as communications, budget, resource planning, tools, 3rd party partnership negotiations, and defining contractual obligations.WORK EXPERIENCE10+ years of professional business experience, with international business experience preferred in enterprise software sales, sales enablement, industry operations, and corporate development. Required qualifications include:
Finance proficient (mandatory).3+ years of SAP work experience.Experience in Cloud in the B2B environment.Experience in program planning and/or evaluating new business development opportunities in new or emerging markets.EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESBachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration. Proficient understanding of SAP or its competitors, with a strong advantage of coming from the enterprise software Cloud CRM/Customer Experience domain. Additional qualifications include:
Understanding of cloud, Services, and SaaS/PaaS models, cloud-based commerce/business networks.Exposure to innovation and start-ups in the Retail-Consumer-Manufacturing space is a plus.Strong knowledge of best business practices and financial theory and analysis.Fluency in English; any other language is an asset.
