About the Role: With New Verticals, we're building Uber's fastest-growing, and our next 10^10, business.
Global in scope, with a focus on our largest potential grocery and other new verticals markets, the team is responsible for all grocery and new verticals operations/sales/strategy across markets.
This creative, forward-thinking, and high-performing team is tasked with building a balanced high-growth business as we expand from restaurants to other high-growth verticals.
As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving New Verticals' long-term commercial relationships with grocery partners in Spain.
You will collaborate with these brands to help them grow their business sustainably whilst delivering the best experience to our users, with the goal of making Uber Eats their most loved delivery platform.
This role calls for a combination of relationship management, business strategy, operational excellence, and problem-solving.
You should be comfortable in an "all hands on deck" environment, love solving problems, thrive in startup culture, and above all be passionate about our grocery partners.
What You'll DoAs an Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
Account Management: Build long-term relationships with our key accounts and be the main point of contact from the Store Manager to HQ, focusing on improving their financials, marketing efforts, engagement, and satisfaction.
You'll be a key influence in their delivery business.Growth: Develop plans in conjunction with your assigned accounts to expand their business through adding locations (i.e., location deployment, expansion support), or growing same-location sales (e.g., effective marketing, menu optimization).Commercial Management: Lead commercial discussions to build a sustainable long-term partnership.
Seek to achieve operational efficiencies by iterating and improving on playbooks, internal tools and resources, and cross-functional & internal processes.
Help form the way we interact with retail partners from the ground up.

This role will require fast thinking on your feet and moving swiftly through fire drill situations. What You'll Need3+ years of customer or client-facing experience ideally in retail, on-demand delivery, or FMCG.
Ideally, you have previous customer-facing experience at executive levels.Previous experience achieving business targets and over-delivering vs plan.Commercial skills: Understanding how businesses and organizations work and how to navigate a partner's business.Excellent communication and the ability to handle diverse stakeholders across businesses and levels.Experience in developing and optimizing processes.
Ability to take big picture ideas and projects and break them into useful steps with adventurous targets for completion.An extraordinary project manager who can build meticulously detailed execution plans for large-scale projects (e.g., launching a new product, onboarding a major enterprise) and then deliver them to plan regardless of any surprises or ambiguity along the way.Data-driven decision-making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking.Highly autonomous - able to work with minimal oversight.Your first language is Spanish and you have a very good level of English.
